Sipix Imaging

SiPix represents a technological leadership in the electrophoretic bistable e-paper displays. SiPix has been acquired by E Ink Holdings in Fall 2012. First color e-paper display "Spectra" showed by E Ink during 2013 SID was the first fruit of this acquisition.

SiPix Imaging, Inc. develops micro-cup technology based electrophoretic displays. It provides custom display modules, direct drive displays, and active matrix displays; and standard evaluation kits that include an EPD module, a controller module, a power supply, and cables.

The company also offers e-Paper, a plastic-based material; and display module development and volume manufacturing services. Its products are applied in smartcards, pricing labels, point-of-purchase displays, indicators and icons, high resolution displays, and consumer devices.

The company was founded in 1999 and is based in Fremont, California. As of March 20, 2015, SiPix Imaging, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of E Ink Holdings Inc.
